De flora en fauna van Mallorca prachtig met veel inheemse soorten en types, de nationale parken liggen verspreid over het hele eiland, van ruige kuststroken, tot wetlands van ruige bergen tot prachtige stranden. De bevolking van Mallorca is gewend aan het toerisme, een groot deel van het inkomen van het eiland wordt tenslotte bepaald door bezoekers van het eiland. Toch kan iedere Mallorcaan het erg waarderen dat je een woordje Spaans praat en iets verder komt dan het woordje “Si” en een een “cerveza por favor” Maar geen probleem verder de meesteMallorcanen spreken goed Engels en Duits is bijna de tweede taal op het eiland.
